The Indonesia Regional Science Association, or IRSA, is an association established to actively promote the advancement of research regarding issues of development, particularly regional development, across Indonesia. Formed in 1997, IRSA organizes annual conferences in collaboration with its university partners across Indonesia.

Faculty of Economy and Business (FEB) of the Universitas Mataram was founded on 17 November 1963. Besides running an undergraduate program, the FEB also organises master programs in Economics and Development Studies, in Management, and in Accounting. Since 1999, the FEB opened a Master program in Management; since 2009 a Master program in Accounting and in Economics.
