Ida Aju (Daju) Resosudarmo is a research fellow at the Australian National University (ANU). She is an experienced researcher in environmental and natural resource issues in Indonesia and has a strong track record of publications in these areas. She has published articles on deforestation, economic crisis, decentralization, and REDD+ in leading academic journals. In the last several years, she has been working on the issues of improving community fire management and peatland restoration in Indonesia and legal pluralism in natural resource governance: the case of artisanal and small-scale gold mining of Maluku Islands. Before joining the ANU, she was a senior scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) working on global comparative studies on reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation (REDD)+.
